Welcome to a nourishing week-long journey designed to gently reconnect you with your body, mind, and heart.

Through daily guided breathwork, gentle yoga, shamanic journeys, sound healing, wholesome meals, and optional healing therapies, Kathrine and Matoula invites you to slow down, go inward, and reconnect with what is happening on the inside.

During this week, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Release old tension, stress, and emotional blocks
  • Reconnect with your inner clarity, vitality, and sense of self
  • Transform your relationship with your body, mind, and emotions

The Power of Breath

Rebirthing Breathwork is a deeply nurturing and transformative practice that opens the door to profound inner renewal. Throughout the retreat, you’ll be guided on a journey of self-discovery — a gentle yet powerful dive into your inner world — giving you the space to release what no longer serves you.

This practice supports detoxification on the deepest levels: mental, emotional, and energetic. It invites clarity, healing, and the setting of heartfelt intentions, allowing you to open to new possibilities and inner freedom.

Each day is thoughtfully balanced between movement, rest, and reflection, giving your body and nervous system the time they need to integrate the shifts and insights that arise.

Daily Practices Include:

  • Gentle yogato support your body, breath, and energy flow
  • Sound healing sessionto harmonize your mind, body, and spirit
  • Shamanic-inspired journeys, offering a safe and supportive space for deep inner exploration
  • Optional energy and healing therapiesto release tension and restore balance

All optional sessions are there to support your personal journey — you choose what resonates most with you.

By the end of the week, you will leave feeling lighter, and deeply renewed, carrying tools and insights you can continue to use long after the retreat ends.

Your Home for the Week

You will be staying at the beautiful Kathy’s Island Retreat on Karpathos, Greece — a peaceful sanctuary surrounded by turquoise waters, open skies, and stunning nature.

You’ll enjoy three nourishing, homemade meals each day, lovingly prepared with fresh local ingredients. Dietary needs and preferences are always taken into consideration.

There is plenty of time to rest, swim, or simply be. Read a book in a hammock, meditate by the sea, take quiet moments alone, or connect with like-minded souls. This week is about showing up for yourself — in whatever way feels right.

We’ll also enjoy a special beach excursion with lunch, blending relaxation, beauty, and connection.

Additional treatments such as Massages, Sauna, Cold plunge and a variety of energy work are available on request for those who feel called to go even deeper.

Your Hosts

Kathrine Brustad

For more than 20 years, I have been on a journey of self-discovery and transformation, supported by practices such as yoga, sound healing, energy work, and breathwork — each offering its own powerful doorway to healing.

Among them all, breathwork has been the most life-changing for me. It guided me deep within, bringing light to what was hidden and creating space for real, lasting transformation.

Today, I feel deeply called to share these tools with you. I warmly invite you to explore your inner world, release old patterns, and reconnect with your clarity, strength, and true power. This is an invitation to step into the best version of yourself — and into what the this year is truly about.

As the Founder of Kathy’s Island Retreat, I have had the joy of welcoming people from all over the world for more than 10 years, an experience that continues to inspire me and deepen my path of growth and healing every year. I look forward to seeing you here with us.

I am a nurturing presence for your healing journey who walks beside you, not ahead of you.

My education in Reiki (Master),

Shamaness (Certified in the Mystic Qero tradition),

Breathwork (Certified Trainer with the GPBA), and

Psychotherapy (in practice & Counseling in Integrative Psychology)

unravels my personal journey of exploration.

Practical Details

Price: €1495 for 7 nights
Includes accommodation, 3 meals per day, daily yoga practices, breathwork, shamanism, sound healing, sharing circles and airport transfer, a zoom integration session after the retreat end.

(Travel to the island and drinks are not included. Filtered water and herbal teas are always freely available.)

We’ll be there to welcome you at the airport and bring you to your island home.
